lyrics
As we drift out of the widening path
We can see that nothing is the same as it was
What used to be heaven is now a wasteland you can see
And it is not for me
It is not for me
It’s not for me
Drink to the moon, the highball equator, yeah
We can see that nothing tastes just quite like it does
What used to be heaven is now a wasteland you can see
And it is not for me
It is not for me
It’s not for me
I’m going back into the world
Before the first place went up in a whirl
A clean-cut dinosaur world before everything came unfurled
I’m going back into the world
I’m going back into the world
I’m going back into the world
I’m going back into the world one more time
Drink to the moon, the highball equator, yeah
We can see that nothing tastes just quite like it does
What used to be heaven is now a wasteland you can see

this is a sampling of indie music from Portland ME. my mother and father's (Sydney Bourke and Aaron Hautala) contribution was track 17, which recalls Satellite Lot and Marie Stella, two other bands they were in. my parents are ancient, but they rescued me from a shelter and for that i am grateful. proceeds go to reopening a venue to support such local acts, the Aphodian My Name Is Jade.
Like winter branches lined with snow and ice, Sam Ray (Ricky Eat Acid, Teen Suicide)'s latest is delicate, spare, melancholy, and beautiful. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 3, 2018
This NYC quartet channels the anxious, experimental nature of late '90s-early '00s Olympia indie rock in their tense, rhythmic post-punk. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 8, 2016
